GPOYW (is that right??) I am pretty sure that this is the first one of these I have done however I had to share this.
For our work holiday party for the climbing gym, the invitation said “festive attire”. Well leave it to me to take it to the extreme and Drew willingly went along with it. I told him he could even carry a sword. We were the Nutcracker and Snowflake from the Nutcracker.
We won the best dressed contest and got a bottle of champagne!! It was definitely worth it.
So I arrive on Tuesday and the majority of the time I will be there it will be raining. Meanwhile in beautiful Boulder CO it will be Sunny almost everyday except for the occastional cloudy day and will have highs of 60 for the week.
This is not motivating me to go home…
welcome to Colorado. It is so nice of you to join us. I really appreciated today how it was cardigan weather and I got to enjoy my Pumpkin Spice Latte in less than 60 degree weather. Stay around for a while…don’t let winter come too soon.

New license plates, new haircut, new feathers in hair, new license (even though it is temporary and paper).
I guess this officially makes me a Colorado resident…its about time!!!!

A quick note on this to my family (who will never read this). I am not a fragile person! This past week at a wedding I found out that my entire family thinks I’m a fragile person. Maybe I am made of porcelain but I gladly welcome my scars and think that throughout the last few years I have proven that I am completely strong in comparison to what my family thinks. I am pretty sure that even when the surf board hit me in the face my entire face did not crack and break. I guess my family just doesn’t know me that well… I just wish they would look to see who I really am instead of accepting me as I am, a strong, more confident outdoors-woman!
